Energy efficiency and the environmental impact of distributed systems

Abstract

Anne-Cécile’s research centers around energy efficiency and the environmental impact of distributed systems, such as data-centers, cloud or network infrastructures, and smart grids. Her work includes creating consumption models through empirical measurements as well as designing strategies to reduce the energetic impact of these systems. She will present a general overview of her activities and some recent contributions.
