Computer Science Education in French High-School

Abstract

Mathieu Poirier is one of the first to have passed the “agrégation d’Informatique” in 2022.

During the session, he will cover some aspects of Computer Science Education in high school, including a historical overview. He will also discuss the balance of topics within educational programs, among which the place of Software Engineering. Last but not least, we will explore the connections between Computer Science in high school and higher education.
